- 99.99% pure silver: Higher than 99.99% purity silver is used for AC-01AG series sockets, and now directly plated with gold to prevent silver tarnish from forming. No longer will the tarnish be formed on the silver pins itself.
- Gold plated 99.99% pure copper: Higher than 99.99% purity copper with direct gold plating is used for AC-01GU.
- Forged powder metal process: Precision forged powder metal manufacturing process allows excellent surface uniformity (better contacts!).
- Cryo treated: Main metal pins are cryo treated for 22 hours at -240C/-400F for better performance.
- Polycarbonate housing: Impact and flame resistant polycarbonate is used for AC-01 series' housing, instead of the more fragile nylon or other plastics.
- Easy mounting: High quality silver plated copper ring terminals are included for easy solderless mounting. (Crimp wire on ring terminal and then solder the crimp is recommended for even better performance, but no soldering should be done on the socket itself).
- Included Accessory: Mounting screw sets, silver plated ring terminal sets (3 for all units), allows equipments to be mounted with NO soldering required!

The Ares-500S gives out 500 Watt(rms)@8Ohms, 865 Watt(rms)@4Ohms.The Ares-500s is designed with a High End circuit with very low-noise FETs. A balanced, complimentary differential input circuit makes the Ares-500S even more linear than other systems.The output stage has three pairs of high current, paralleled, bi-polar power transistors to meet the peak current demands of any speaker system. Dynamic transient sounds come through with full impact and clarity. Servo-controlled, direct-coupled circuitry is used throughout the circuitry for extremely high resolution sound.
